Another “daily drinker” sort of wine. I picked this up in Whole Foods on a whim, hoping it would be more on the dry side than the sweet side. It turns out it is somewhere in between.
I’m tasting some lemon and grapefruit flavors in this, along with some grassiness, or something like that. There is a little acidity in the end to mix with the sweetness.
This is a bit sweeter than I would like from a wine like this, I tend to like my whites a bit dryer. I’m gonna have to find some of this bone dry German Riesling next. That sounds good. And German. And that’s good.
Still, this is a decent refreshing little wine, it would probably be pretty tasty on a nice summer afternoon, out in a park somewhere for a picnic or something.
