Limited Edition Variants of Driven and Drive Woodblock Prints

Not only are my woodblock prints limited editions, but my limited editions have limited variants!

Oh, heck yeah!

Both the Drive and Driven prints that I finished over the last couple days each have two variants.

@ella, Thanks! Hopefully, once I add them into the gallery, it won’t be so chaotic.

Have you considered using some orange or yellow variations. I think they might work as well 🙂

I have thought about yellow and orange. When I printed a trial proof of the Driven print, one of the background colors I used was yellow. I liked it, but wanted to try something different when I got around to printing this edition. Part of the reason for the variants is to get more color mixing and matching in, to develop those skillz.

I’ve got something finishing up this week in this series that uses a little more orange. Or brownish orange. Or something.

Eventually, I’ll get around to a yellow extravaganza 🙂
