Following @writingroads now.

I am fairly meticulous with my dress clothing. I am also very bland. I have 4 white shirts, all exactly the same. I have 1 black shirt too, for variety. I take them to the dry cleaner all at the same time, to get them dry cleaned, not just washed & pressed.

I think that if I were dressed meticulously, my printing would be meticulous too. I usually print in old, ink-stained clothing though.

My friend Julie Roads (@writingroads, follow her, you'll love her) and I have a theory about dressing to impress your art.

We're both writers and we don't do the writing-in-pajamas thing (much). We dress hot so we can write hot and we call it 'pretty girl karma'.

She wrote a post about it.

We have very small egos.

Even so, I worried for the white shirt too. Be nice to the whites.

I *probably* don't print in my dress shirts. That would be crazy, after all, to print in my dress shirts, which I meticulously get dry cleaned (instead of washed) so they stay nicer, longer.

I *almost* never print in my nice white shirts.

Sometimes, however, sophisticated art requires sophisticated dress. Luckily, the art I've been making lately isn't *too* sophisiticated.

Must be because I have had an overwhelming amount of laundry to do lately but please! Tell me you do not make prints in the white dress shirt.

Can't wait to watch the video!
